Bare Minerals READY SPF 20 Foundation Review

I ran out of my Bare Minerals foundation a few weeks ago. So I decided to make a stop at the Bare Mineral's Boutique at the Mall of GA. The consultant informed me about their new foundation and formula. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try it. Plus I already had my makeup on and couldn't try it in the store. She kept insisting that I try it. So I gave in and told her to put it on my neck. To my surprise it didn't feel like she put anything there. Because of that feeling I decided to purchase the new Bare Minerals READY foundation instead of the original foundation to try it out. I have been using the foundation for about 3 weeks now. This new foundation is a solid mineral. It's not loose powder like their original.

My opinion of this product is that I LOVE IT! It's worth it!!

It comes in a small black compact the size of my palm. The product is very soft so you can crush it if you press down too hard. You will need a good synthetic brush with tight bristles to apply this foundation. With a good brush you will just need to pat it gently. It goes on smoothly. The coverage is much better since it is a medium-full coverage foundation. It feels great on my face because I can't feel it. My face goes from dry to slightly oily after 8-12 hours. This foundation is great. After 12 hours it still in place and my face doesn't feel oily at all. For the original foundation after 12 hours I can feel that the minerals has soaked up the oil on my face. It's feels oily and I always have to wipe it of the minute I get home. With the new one it doesn't bug me at all. It's also great for people who has fine lines around their eyes. It blends pretty well and doesn't bring out wrinkles. This is a great foundation for those of you who want a long lasting foundation that feels very light and covers well!!

A weeks ago I got a package in the mail addressed to me. I wasn't expecting anything and was clueless to what it was. When I opened it. I super excited. Someone ordered me some Sigma makeup brushes. I've been wanting these like forever. I tell you, I was jumping for joy. I finally found out that it was my brothers and sisters who bought them for me as a birthday gift. What a great gift it is!

For those of you who don't know what Sigma brushes are. They are synthetic makeup brushes and they are rated one of the best. You can order the brushes as a set or individually.  https://www.sigmabeauty.com

The set I got is the Sigma Beauty Premium Kit which has fifteen brushes for the face, eyes, and lips.

UPDATE 10/26/12: I am in love with the E30 - Pencil and the F25 - Tapered Face.

I really love these brushes. They pick up product very well and have no fallout. They are also very soft. As for the other brushes I haven't really used them yet. So the verdict is still out there. I just wanted to pick out the ones I really like in case any of you just want to buy them individually.

THANKS FAMILY FOR THE BRUSHES!!

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!

So the questions was asked on my FB: How many pairs of shoes do you own? Some refused to answer and majority had numbers that were 50+. Since I asked the question I had to count my shoes too. At a glance I thought I had like 10 pairs (all types). As I started counting I started laughing as the number got bigger. Total pairs of shoes was 26. So is this bad or good? It's a good thing right! LOL.

I actually do wear all of my shoes and if I don't I have someone who would gladly wear them for me. I tried to not be a hoarder. Since I hate clutter. Everything has it's place and if it doesn't it get tossed. I try my best to keep my shoes nice and neat. I'm super picky when it comes to buying shoes. Ask Kaelyn my shopping partner, she gets annoyed. I just don't buy any shoes. It has to be the ONE! It's a process!

Steps:
1. I have to be drawn to it, which means it has to stand out and speak to me. LOL
2. It has to make my heart race. I know it sounds funny but it's true. I have to be in love with it.
3. I have to be able to see myself wear it. I'm visual. If I can't picture it in my head i won't buy it.

Here are a few of my favorites at the moment.

These turquoise Kenneth Cole heels are new to the family. I haven't even worn them yet. I got them at Marshalls a few weeks ago.

I love love these pink Lauren Conrad. These are my favorite 5 inch heels. I feel super tall in them and they are comfortable. I got these at Khols.

These are my favorite red shoes. Well its my only red shoe. I love these because of the print. I got these from Payless. I saw it online and I was in love.

I love to wear these gray heels with my skinny jeans. These are 3 inch heels so they are comfy. I believe I got these from Ross.

In case you haven't notice, I love color! So my shoes reflect that. But yes, these are my favorites at the moment.
