MONET

I was introduced to the art work of Monet in elementary school. His work had inspired me as a young child.

Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies, 1899
I remember the first time I saw this portrait in print. I thought "Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies",  was beautiful.

Water Lilies, 1906
I love his water lilies because it bring me a sense of calmness. As for the lady with parsol. I remember drawing tons of pictures using her in my high school art class. I remember my teacher asking me who she was and why I kept drawing her. I was like I don't know she just seem interesting.

"The Stroll, Camille Monet and Her Son Jean (Woman with a Parasol)" 1875
"Houses of Parliament, London" 1905

I just wanted to say thank you to Ms. Susan Dickow (elementary school art teacher) everywhere you are for showing me your love of ART!!
